What is Egym?
EGYM Smart Strength and the EGYM Ecosystem combine intelligent strength machines with a robust, open software platform to deliver a personalised, motivating, and highly efficient fitness experience.

Personalised Setup: Say goodbye to manually adjusting settings, weights, and reps. Members simply log in with an EGYM ID (RFID wristband or chip), and the machines instantly and automatically adjust the seat, lever arm, and weight settings to their personal, pre-determined metrics.
Guided Workouts: The interactive, gamified touchscreen displays guide users through every repetition, ensuring correct form, speed, and range of motion. This provides safe, effective, and motivating training for all experience levels, especially beginners.
Automatic Progression: The system conducts an initial strength test to determine a personalised training weight. As the member gets fitter and stronger, the system uses sports science-backed training methods (like Negative, Adaptive, and Explonic) and automatically increases resistance to ensure continuous progress.
The Fitness Hub: The journey begins at the EGYM Fitness Hub, the centre piece for smart onboarding. It quickly measures body metrics, sets personal goals (e.g. body toning, weight loss, rehabilitation), and provides data-driven motivation via the EGYM BioAge and continuous progress tracking.
A Complete Ecosystem: The Smart Strength machines are part of the larger EGYM Ecosystem, which includes the EGYM Genius AI-driven training plans, mobile apps for members and trainers, and connectivity with over 200 third-party brands (e.g. for Smart Cardio), creating a fully connected and unified fitness floor.
